My sister bought this book with the price of 3000 pesos…and it’s half the price because she bought this 2^nd hand, hard bound and colored. I’m enjoying reading this book because it’s colored. But the disadvantage is it is heavy to bring to school so I advice you to buy cheaper fundamental of nursing if you want to bring book in your school but kozhier I think is the best author of fundamentals of nursing. A fundamental of Nursing book is very essential if you’re taking up nursing course because the basic topics, ideas and information that a nursing student should know… When I was still a student one of my professor told us that our key to our studies is fundamental of nursing and anatomy book. But for me maybe during the 2^nd year subjects only because if you’re in the 3^rd year subject it is more on Medical Surgical topics and you still need your anatomy book…because by that time you should already know the concept and the whole foundation or the fundamentals of nursing so there’s no need to bring fundamentals until 4^th year.

If you’re planning to take up nursing, buy the fundamentals of nursing now and start to read it… because that’s the first thing that your professor will discuss. The Vital signs, bedmaking, physical assessment, prioritization, health assessment, NCP or nursing care plan, etc. so I advice you to buy as early as your college years for you to maximize you reading time. It’s better to buy early for you to read more than to buy late when you’re already in 3^rd year or 4^th year. This is really a must if you’re a nursing student
